Our own coordinated piled foundation system
PileDek is SPS’s own piled foundation solution developed to bring piling and associated foundation works together within a coordinated package. Rather than treating the piles and the foundation above as separate stages, the system is intended to provide a more joined-up approach to delivering the supporting foundation structure.
The solution can be developed around the structural requirements of the project, ground conditions and proposed building layout, helping to coordinate the relationship between the pile arrangement and the foundation system above. For suitable projects, this can simplify interfaces between different elements of the foundation works and provide a clearer route from piling through to the completed foundation platform.

How PileDek (Piled Rafts) Works
PileDek combines a designed pile arrangement with the associated foundation structure above, allowing the elements to be considered as part of a coordinated system. The appropriate pile type, positions and foundation arrangement are developed around structural loading, building geometry and ground conditions.
By bringing the piling and associated foundation works together, the approach can reduce the need to coordinate separate packages and provide greater continuity between initial foundation works and the supporting structure above.
